Applications are now being accepted for entrance into the AYSO Potomac Cup Tournament.
The deadline to enter the tournament is May 24, 2008 for the reduce team entry fee of $150.00. Applications will continue to be accepted between May 24, 2008 and May 31, 2008 at the team registration fee of $200.00. Applications accepted through May 24, 2008 will be given priority for acceptance into the tournament.
The Potomac Cup is not a select or all-star tournament. Teams participating in the tournament must be made up of at least 70% of the rostered players from your primary 2007/2008 season immediately preceding the tournament (i.e. spring, if you run a spring and fall season).
Applications will be accepted on a first-come basis, based on a completed application and available openings. To be considered complete, you application must include all of the following:
- Team Application Form, signed by the Regional Coach Administrator and the Regional Commissioner
- Tournament Team Roster Form signed by your Regional Commissioner.
- Primary season Team Roster Form signed by your Regional Commissioner.

- Alternatively, an eAYSO Roster form will be accepted, however it must include the names of the Head Coach and Assistant Coach and be signed by your Regional Commissioner.
- The tournament roster is verified to consist of a least 70% of your active primary 2007/2008 season team roster. Active is defined as having attended at least 1/2 of the possible games in the primary season. If a player is listed on the roster but is inactive as defined above, the Regional Commissioner must annotate and initial the roster indicating the player was inactive for the primary season.
- Roster changes will be allowed up until Team Check-in; after that, no roster changes. All roster changes must be approved by your Regional Commissioner.
- Rosters must be completed solely of players who were registered to play in the AYSO 2007/2008 primary season program.

- The complete Referee Form signed by your Regional Referee Administrator (if you’re not planning to bring referees, just check the box on the Referee Form and return it without the RRA signature.
- A single Regional check for the total amount of the Team Entry Fee and the Referee Commitment Fee.

If accepted, it will be assumed that you intend for your team play the entire tournament. Priority will be given to those teams that can play in the entire tournament.
If your application is not accepted, you will be offered the opportunity to be placed on a waiting list, or if you prefer we will return your application to you.
Refund: If you withdraw your application 30 or more days from the start of the tournament, a full refund will be issued. If you withdraw after that time, we will only issue a refund if a replacement team can be found, less any cost to register that replacement team.
